Ridelines are one of the country's leading centres for the delivery of the British Cycling Mountain Bike Leader Award. Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 UKMBLA training and assessments are available throughout the year.

Description
WE ARE ONE OF THE COUNTRY’S TOP PROVIDERS FOR TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT.
The Night Leader Award is aimed at qualified mountain bike leaders with substantial night riding experience looking to lead groups and individuals confidently and competently after sundown. Leaders retain their ability to lead in the same conditions as their primary mountain bike leadership award, extending their capacity to lead beyond the hours of daylight. The night leading award is for already proficient Leaders with substantial experience of riding in dark conditions. The training and assessment courses build on the skills, knowledge and experience that previous qualifications and leading has provided.
Registration with British Cycling Leadership award scheme is required before attending our one day training course. A one-day practical assessment will follow after a consolidation period agreed with your Ridelines tutor. This allows sufficient time for you to build on your night riding experiences with a view to taking responsibility for others in the dark
NIGHT LEADING IS OPEN TO ALL EXISTING MTB LEADERS.
Night Leading training and assessments are open to the holders of MBLA Trail Cycle Leaders (TCL), Mountain Bike Leaders (MBL), and British Cycling Level 2 and level 3 Mountain Bike Leaders. Registration for the British Cycling Mountain Bike Leaderhsip scheme is required, which all holders of level 2 and level 3 MTB Leadership, have already done. Holders of TCL and MBL will have to register.
About Ridelines MTB
Ridelines are a mountain bike tuition company based in the Tweed Valley, Scotland. Started by Andy Weir started in 2011 with the goal of bringing his passion for mountain biking to people who lacked the confidence or ability to take their riding forward. It was simply a dream of his to take the sport he enjoyed and make a living from it. Something we can all relate to? Seven years later Ridelines has moved on to be one of the most respected businesses in this sector.
We are based in Innerleithen, the spiritual home of Scottish MTB and Since our beginnings, we have been inseparable from the Tweed Valley MTB scene. At one time or another, we have contributed and donated time to almost all of the local cycling clubs and organisations from the early days of the Bike Patrol, right up the present day with groups like Tweed Valley Riders, Tweedlove and DMBinS.
