EV Charging Domestic Installation Qualification (2921-34) launched in September 2024.
This qualification was redeveloped with input from employers, professional associations, and providers. It’s aligned with the latest industry standards, National Occupational Standards (NOS), and the Electrician Plus trademark requirements.
This course provides an understanding of how to install the range of equipment and systems available and includes exclusive guidance on electrical requirements. It will provide learners with the essential skills required to install electric vehicle charging points in public, private and commercial locations including:
This course is delivered in compliance with BS 7671 and the new IET Code of Practice. You will be assessed by an online multiple-choice test and a practical assignment.
The course is classroom-based. IT skills are fundamental as the online assessment is undertaken on a PC or laptop (provided by the College).
Cost includes training, exam fee and the IET Code Of Practice For Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation (5th Edition).
