Description

What will I learn?

The course consists of SQA Level 4 units and college certificates which cover a range of practical and theoretical sports related units. Units can include:

Sporting activity: Football, focussing on improving technical and tactical aspects of the game
Playing within a team, including competitive games against other courses, campuses and colleges
Resistance training: Developing physical fitness including power and strength
Circuit training: Developing physical attributes like speed, cariovascular endurance and muscle endurance
Coaching in the game: Games-based lessons focusing on small-sided games
Leadership activities: Improving core skills like communication, working with others and problem solving

A PVG will be required to undertake any coaching placements/work experience which may be included in the course.
