Our expert instructors will help you master the skills needed to ride a Sit-in Conventional Steer ATV safely and with confidence. As the name suggests, you'll gain vital experience tackling all terrains and in all conditions, from testing hill climbs to public roads. The course's key fundamentals will also cover loading and towing, identifying and reporting mechanical faults and understanding health, safety and legal issues. New riders will gain the skills required to use ATVs effectively, while more experienced operators will be able to maximise their abilities to get the very best out of their vehicle. This course is accredited by Lantra and a training certificate will be provided on successful completion of the course. The course typically has a 1 day duration and is recognised by the HSE/HSA/HSENI.
Highland Offroad (which incorporates Land Rover Experience Scotland) specialise in ATV and 4x4 Driver training, accredited through Lantra. ATV training is offered for Sit in and Sit Astride ATV, while 4x4 training is offered for all makes of 4x4 vehicles. These courses are essential for professionals to ensure they are compliant with health and safety regulations, and fully trained in the safe and effective use of various types of equipment.
