As the use of electric vehicles continues to increase, the demand for electric vehicle charging infrastructure is also on the rise. This presents a significant opportunity for the industry to expand and establish itself as a crucial player in the transition towards sustainable transportation. However, to achieve this, it is vital to have a skilled workforce that is well-equipped to design, install, and maintain electric vehicle charging stations safely and efficiently.

Fully-funded course

Delivered in partnership with the National Energy Skills Accelerator (NESA) and with support from Scottish Government’s Just Transition Fund, this course is fully-funded, so there are no costs for participants.

What you will experience

During your study on this three-day course you will cover a range of topics including:

  • Inspection and testing
  • Handing over of electrical vehicle charging equipment

Candidates studying towards the qualification will be assessed by an online multiple-choice test and a practical assignment.
