The BPEC Heat Pump Systems (Installation and Maintenance) course is aimed at experienced heating engineers who wish to fit non-refrigerant heat pumps.
This course is available on the Glasgow Clyde College website.
Previously known as Heat Pump Systems / NOS Mapped, this course is split into two areas which can be undertaken as individual areas or both:
e.g. Heat Pump Technology + Air Source or Heat Pump Technology + Ground Source or Heat Pump Technology + Air and Ground Source.

Candidates will receive a BPEC Certification demonstrating skills and knowledge to install and maintain heat pump systems. It is recognised for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and is valid for 5 years.
This course does not lead to a regulated qualification and should not be confused with the Level 3 qualification.
As this course is categorised as part-time commercial training, it is not eligible for any fee waiver or funding via the College. The student is liable for the payment of fees, unless an external training grant or employer support is confirmed at time of booking.
