The Level 5 Qualification in Business with Information Technology is designed for learners who are considering a career in Business or Administration or looking to develop their Information Technology skills. Students will study a wide range of subjects including IT, Understanding Business, Skills for Customer Care, Communication in Administration and Employability Skills. Workshops and study skills are included and students will have the opportunity to visit business organisations and receive visiting speakers from industry. Through undertaking a work experience placement, students have the opportunity to consolidate new skills and knowledge developed throughout their course.

Qualifications

Upon successful completion, candidates will achieve the following awards;

• NPA Business with Information Technology at SCQF Level 5
• SQA Accredited Essential Skills such as Communication and Numeracy

Delivery

The course is full-time with delivery on campus over three days, for 36 weeks. There will be some hybrid learning opportunities and this will be flexible throughout the delivery.

Entry requirements

Applications should have 3 relevant National 4 qualifications or be progressing from a similar college course at Level 4. Applicants with no formal qualifications will be considered on an individual basis and their applications or enquiries are encouraged.
