Looking to develop your outdoor skills in sustainably using wild plants? Wild Things suits learners who have never used wild plants before and also people who have started working with wild plants and want to consolidate their knowledge for personal or professional use. You can complete the course 100% online - making it accessible for folk with caring responsibilities or unpredictable work schedules. There are also in-person options in Edinburgh and Glasgow (see below) Previous students have included people who think of themselves as absolute beginners - although you'll be surprised by how many medicinal and edible plants you might know already, such as Dandelion and Nettle. Students with more experience include gardeners and community gardeners, foresters and others with an interest in working in environmental, horticultural and outdoor work. Wild Things online can be completed from anywhere in Scotland, with 15 Mystery Teas sent to you in the post and all other materials available through our online portal. These include a zine on 5 Plant Families, your Wild Things Handbook on 40 key plants which we focus on and handouts and links for each module.
