Description
A recent Skills Survey carried out by the college shows that employers are looking for staff to have better IT and digital Skills. This course is for those who work with IT within their current role or are familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite but want to learn more skills.
This course will assist you with using IT in everyday life and introduce you to new methods, increasing your productivity and efficiency. The course will also increase your knowledge and requirement for IT Security.
Units within the course are:
- Using IT to increase productivity
- IT Software fundamentals
- IT Security for users
- Presentation software
- Spreadsheet software
This is a marked course which requires short essay style answers, screenshots and viewing of datafiles to allow your assigned marker to be able to identify that you have understood the skills and knowledge to meet the awarding body standards.
This is a fully online course and access to the materials and Assessments will be emailed to you.
