Description
The sport and fitness industry offers a wide range of exciting and satisfying careers across coaching, outdoor adventure tourism and health promotion.
Designed to prepare you for a wide range of careers within the sport, fitness and health sectors, you'll develop the knowledge, confidence and professional skills needed to succeed in this growing industry.
Throughout the course, you'll study key areas including anatomy, physiology, fitness instruction, sports coaching, nutrition, health and wellbeing, and sports science. You'll also take part in practical sporting activities and learn how to plan and deliver coaching and play sessions, helping you build valuable experience working with others in active environments.
You also have the option to study Higher English or National 5 Maths alongside this course. If you wish to take either of these subjects, please clearly state this in your personal statement when applying and an extra fee will apply of £352 (subject to change).
