Course Overview

Change Management in the Public Sector, or CHAMPS2® as it's better known, is a business change method, which has a broad scope and is driven by vision.

The APMG CHAMPS2 Foundation training course teaches you how to adopt a proven business change method within your business, helping your organisation reach its objectives and manage change through CHAMPS2 principles and techniques. 

When you have completed your CHAMPS2 Foundation training, you will show an understanding of how to:

  •  Reduce risk and cost by providing clear guidance, tools, and techniques.
  •  Achieve a high standard of programme delivery through the quality management framework integrated within the method.
  •  Provide a common language for programme teams and stakeholders across all change initiatives.
  •  Learn to tailor the method to fit all sizes of projects or programmes.
  •  Give leadership control through comprehensive gateway processes.
  •  Build internal change management capability within your organisation.

You can then apply for your APMG CHAMPS2 Practitioner training.
