Description

Dumfries House Estate is a 2,000acre estate. 600acres are designed landscape, gardens and mixed woodland/forestry. The remaining area is farmed, of which 400acres is tenanted and the rest is organically managed by the Foundation. The work of The King’s Foundation is inspired by His Majesty the King’s philosophy of harmony: that by understanding the balance, the order and the relationships between ourselves and the natural world we can create a more sustainable future. The King’s Foundation has been established to deliver a diverse range of activities focusing on culture, heritage, community and education projects throughout the U.K. and internationally. Our mission is to ensure that, through our initiatives, we will positively impact the lives of all regardless of gender, age, politics, wealth or religion. EGGER Barony is a wood-based product manufacturing facility in Auchinleck which creates products for furniture, interior design and construction as well as laminate flooring. It's one of the largest manufacturing employers in East Ayrshire
