This 2 day workshop will cover the basic requirements you need to construct a stockproof fence. A discussion around tool, measurements and materials required. This workshop is taught by an experienced fencer.
Lochview Rural Training is situated in the beautiful Sutherland landscape on a working croft. We are a social enterprise with the key aim to promote, organise and deliver rural learning, training and career opportunities, improving awareness, knowledge and access to our rural landscape and to promote an understanding of the value of rural life for social wellbeing for all. We hope to provide an informal setting for you to experience a range of activities that will help to develop your skills and knowledge of all that is rural.
The Women in Agriculture Practical Training Fund has been established by Scottish Government to support the personal development of women, providing them with additional skills to progress their careers and employment opportunities in Scottish agriculture beyond their current role.
