About the Event

Judith Yarrow spent 18 months at FarmED observing, sketching, and painting the fields and woodland of the farm. Join Judith as she explores her experience watching and documenting the changes throughout the seasons; she will explain her fascinating and steep learning curve in regenerative farming and how the farming landscape can be beautiful in a visually different way. In this Lunchtime Talk, Judith will bring some original artworks, share her inspirations, and how she came to be an artist, followed by answering all your questions.

You can find her at www. judithyarrow. com, or on Instagram as Judith Yarrow Artist or Facebook as Judith Yarrow.

This talk will include a presentation and a Q+A session, followed by a delicious FarmED cafe lunch.

About the speaker:

Judith is an accomplished artist, recently winning the 2024 prestigious Ironstone Art Prize. She will be showing and selling her work in Chipping Norton Theatre in June as part of the Lark Rise production. Judith is actively interested in the environment, and having lived and worked on a farm in Wales in the past, FarmED feels like home.

Please arrive at 11:45 am. The talk will start at midday, and lunch will be served at 1:00 pm.

Provider Avatar

We aim to be at the heart of local, regional and global agroecological transition.

We are a not-for-profit organisation based at Honeydale Farm, a diverse 107 acre mixed farm in the Cotswolds. Central to FarmED are three beautiful eco-buildings including a multifunctional educational, meeting and conference space, and a farm to fork kitchen and demonstration area. Our micro dairy and farming operations utilise building three.

Our audience is everyone - our local community, farmers, growers, advisers, foodies, policy makers, students and researchers.

Our mission is to provide learning spaces and events that inspire, educate and connect people to build sustainable farming and food systems that nourish people and regenerate the planet.

If you are passionate about regenerative agriculture, farming with nature and great food then join us on the journey. It's time to make a difference.

We cover soil health, gut health and everything in between!
