Arbroath Campus
This course is aimed at school leavers who wish or need to continue their studies in a supported college environment and would have previously received support for learning. In this first year, there is an emphasis on the development of confidence and social skills within college. The timetable includes: essential skills (ICT, Communication, Numeracy, Working with Others and Problem Solving); independent living skills; creativity; health and well-being and personal independence.
There are no specific pre-entry requirements other than a willingness to study and to participate fully as a learner at college. Some subjects will include a level of physical activity.
On successful completion of this course, learners can apply for Next Steps 2.
