Description

This training course will cover modules required for the safe operation of a chainsaw on the ground which will include working safely, maintenance of the chainsaw and cutting system, operational chainsaw checks, legislation and industry good practice and cross-cutting timber with a chainsaw. Felling and processing trees up to 380mm will also be covered and removing branches from felled trees and taking down hung up trees using hand tools. ALSO How not to take down hung trees Maintenance of the Chainsaw and Cutting System & Cross-Cut Timber Using a Chainsaw Fell and Process Trees up to 380mm Assessment can be arranged for Certificate of Competence
