Description
Higher Applications of Mathematics focuses on using mathematics in real-world contexts such as finance, statistics and mathematical modelling. You will develop practical skills using R software for statistical analysis, making this course particularly relevant to modern industries. Recognised by many degree programmes, it provides strong preparation for further study and employment in areas such as health, science, business and environmental research.
A maximum of two Qualifications Scotland Higher and National subjects can be studied with UHI Inverness in one academic year.
Applicants must attend UHI Inverness campus in person for prelims, externally marked coursework and the final exam will be on campus at UHI Inverness.
