This full-time course focuses on exploring options at college whilst developing skills in a range of areas including raising confidence and aspirations, improving teamwork skills and developing coping strategies for different situations. Academic achievements will be raised through nationally recognised qualifications from both SQA and City & Guilds.
In addition, part of the course will be spent studying with a vocational area of choice developing the skills and theoretical knowledge needed to support successful transition to a relevant course. Suitable for individuals unsure of career options, looking to upskill or who require support to succeed at college.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Applicants will attend an interview as part of the selection process.
Method of Assessment
Continuous assessment throughout the year and end of unit tests/assessment.
Future Prospects
Successful learners may have the opportunity to progress onto a full-time college course in their agreed vocational area.
