Why take this course?
Learning a new language is not only useful in travel, but opens up a new world of literature and human understanding. This course is designed for learners with no previous knowledge of Polish, but an interest in learning the language.
What you will experience
You will practice your pronunciation and build a good, basic understanding of Polish in a safe, fun and structured learning environment. By the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Convey and request information orally in Polish
- Understand simple text
- Understand spoken information
The language will be explored in simple, familiar contexts such as:
- Your interests, family and friends
- Leisure and social activities
- Telling the time and communicating days/dates
- Weather, travel, directions
- Shopping, prices, numbers
- Eating out, food and drink
