The RSN provides a range of embroidery classes for all levels and techniques.
This course is available on the Royal School of Needlework website.
As the weather turns chilly and the evenings draw in, why not learn a new embroidery technique from the comfort of your own home!
This introduction to Blackwork embroidery uses geometric patterns to create an attractive frosted leaf. Suitable for newcomers to Blackwork embroidery, This wintry design is created from a combination of Back and Double Running Stitch, with a little touch of sparkly Couching around the edge. Not only will you be guided through each of the stitches, but you will also learn ways to incorporate some simple shading.
This leaf is the second in a series of kits, each designed to introduce you to a different embroidery technique.
No prior experience is necessary for this class and there will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions.
