Why take this course?

This course is aimed at those who are out of work or at risk of being out of work.

This qualification, the NPA Digital Passport at Level 4, will give you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in handling information, in understanding and using computer networks as well as social media.

If you want to be more confident and skillful in using your smartphone, tablet or laptop, to understand more about how to use computer networks, to find out more about social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, then this is the qualification for you.

  • Develop knowledge and skills in handling information, using computer networks and social media
  • Gain confidence using smartphones, tablets and laptops
  • Experienced digital skills coaches on hand to help
  • Communications and numeracy training also available
  • Support may be available for childcare and transport costs.

 

What you will experience

This course is part Campus attendance and part online teaching.

The National Progression Award (NPA) is made of 3 units:

  • H7E9 44 Information Literacy
  • H7EA 44 Network Literacy
  • H7EB 44 Social Media Literacy
