A contemporary blackwork and goldwork design to create mindful mandala. three blackwork patterns; Tulip, Floral Lace and Octagonal Star plus Seeding and Couching and embellish with Pearl Purl and spangles.

Mandalas, are used for meditation, prayer, healing and art therapy. Mandalas have also been shown in clinical studies to boost the immune system, reduce stress and pain, as well as lower blood pressure, promote sleep and ease depression. The repetitive movements of stitching are soothing and calming and bring us into a state of mindfulness and relaxation.

This design is suitable for all stitch abilities and there will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions.

The class kit will be posted out to you. Your kit includes all the materials required to complete this design. The only only additional items you will need are a 8” hoop, a pair embroidery scissors and it would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes.
