This course consists of three mandatory units: make sure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety; promote and maintain services delivery in a facilities services environment; recognise and deal with customer service queries, requests and problems. Three optional units can be chosen from an extensive list of units reflecting the wide range of facilities services job roles.
No formal qualifications are required to undertake this work-based qualification. Applicants must be employed in a suitable post with access to duties within a property, caretaking and facilities services environment. This course can be started at any point in the academic year.
Continuous assessment/e-portfolio.
Progression to SVQ 3 Facilities Management.
