This course is for those who wish to improve their understand and knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). You will learn about many aspects of SEND including symptoms of specific conditions, legislation and guidance and how conditions affect individuals in daily life.

Topics covered in this course include:

  • Understanding SEND and learning
  • Principles of promoting person centred approach for individuals with SEND
  • Living with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

This is a marked course which requires short essay style answers to allow your assigned marker to be able to identify that you have understood the skills and knowledge to meet the awarding body standards. 

This is a fully online course and access to the materials and Assessments will be emailed to you.
