City & Guilds NPTC Level 3 Award in Severing Uprooted or Windblown Trees using a Chainsaw  (NPTC UNIT 302). (Training Preparing for City & Guilds NPTC 302 (Formally CS35) Assessments)

  • Regulations, Best Practice & Risk Assessment.
  • Operator safety & protection.
  • Assessing lying, windblown and broken timber and deciding on appropriate action.
  • Environmental & Legal requirements.
  • Cutting windblown trees using appropriate techniques.
  • Operating a winch to control movement of root plates

Training Duration:2 Days
City & Guilds (NPTC) Assessment:1 Day

Total 3 Days

Maximum Group Size: 4 Candidates
 
Candidates must hold NPTC 201,202,203 & 301 (CS30, CS31 & CS32) and be experienced  chainsaw operators.

Cost includes all registration, assessment and certification fees
