When - 01 August 2025, 9am to 5pm Where - Dunkeld, Perthshire In a nutshell This module provides an introduction to the FDT concept as a silvicultural tool to establish and manage diverse and resilient forests which are fit for the challenges of climate change. A 2-hour indoor session covers the structure and concept of FDTs, site visits show typical examples and guide through the process of selecting appropriate FDTs for given site conditions. Learning outcomes Delegates are familiar with the FDT concept and able to adapt it flexibly according to a given situation. Additional details All course materials included in price. Lunch will be available to purchase from the Birnam Arts cafe.
