Horses are amazing creatures that have been domesticated for thousands of years. They have been used for transportation, work, and companionship. If you are interested in learning more about horses and how to care for them, this course is for you. This course will cover all aspects of horse care, from basic grooming and feeding to more advanced topics such as first aid and behavior. You will learn how to keep your horse healthy and comfortable, and how to develop a strong bond with your equine partner. This course is suitable for all levels of experience, from beginners to experienced horse owners. No previous horse experience is necessary. Course Syllabus Module 1: Introduction to Horses What are horses? History of horse domestication Different types of horses Horse anatomy and physiology Horse behavior Module 2: Basic Horse Care Grooming Feeding Watering Stabling Turnout Module 3: Equine Health and Welfare Common horse diseases and injuries Vaccination and worming Dental care Farriery Module 4: Horse Behavior and Training Horse communication Basic horse training Handling and leading Behavior problems Module 5: Advanced Horse Care First aid Traveling with horses Horse nutrition Horse breeding Assessment Upon completion of the course, students will be required to complete a written and practical assessment. The written assessment will be a multiple-choice test on the course material. The practical assessment will require students to demonstrate their horse care skills, such as grooming, feeding, and leading a horse. Certification Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, students will receive a certificate in horse care. This certificate will demonstrate their knowledge and skills in horse care and management.
