The aims of the course are:
to improve awareness of recent developments in Construction Legislation, along with Health, Safety and Environmental Issues.
to identify measures that will assist practical implementation of responsibilities established by new legislation and working practices that have occurred within the lifespan of the candidates current qualification.
At the end of the period of training, candidates will:
be aware of and able to implement all Health, Safety, Welfare and Environmental Legislation which affects them during their daily work.
be aware of and able to implement new guidance and industry best practice.
be aware of and able to state their duties and responsibilities with regards to Health, Safety, Welfare and the Environment.
Legislation implemented within the last 5 years.
New legislation in the pipeline.
New Legislation and the associated Codes of Practice.
Changes in industry best practice that have occurred as a result of new legislative requirements.
