Modern Apprenticeships (MAs) offer anyone over the age of 16 the chance to earn while you learn. They are an exciting way of gaining a recognised qualification that will help to start your career without having to study full time.
This apprenticeship is the only industry recognised route in Scotland to a career in plumbing and heating.
As an apprentice plumber you could be involved in a range of projects from installing and testing heating systems, inspecting and repairing drainage and rainwater systems, cutting and jointing pipework, and more.
You will work with experienced colleagues on real projects while putting into practice what you learn from our dedicated lecturers at our Linkwood Technology Centre.
This course will provide apprentice plumbers with specific trade training as specified by the Scottish and Northern Ireland Plumbers Employers Federation (SNIPEF), ensuring that you will be highly qualified and skilled.
You should be in a job or placement where you are carrying out relevant tasks and responsibilities which allow you to gather the required evidence to achieve the qualification.
