Description

The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 states that all Premises Managers must hold a valid Personal Licence or alcohol cannot be served. In order for an individual to be granted a personal licence they must have evidence of a valid licensing qualification such as Certificate for Personal Licence Holders Scotland.  These certificates are valid for five years and must be renewed prior to the expiry date. If it is not renewed the licence will be revoked and candidates cannot reapply to be a licence holder for a further five years.
