Apprenticeships combine work with study, so you can earn while you learn. It is an exciting way of gaining a recognised qualification that will help to start your career without having to study full time.
Our horticulture courses take place at the Biblical Garden beside the iconic Elgin Cathedral, allowing you to work with experienced colleagues on real projects while putting into practice what you learn from our dedicated lecturers.
Throughout this course you will learn a variety of topics which will open you up to a wide range of career opportunities whether your interests lie in plant nursing, floristry, gardening, or research.
We can tailor the frameworks to fit different job roles. The Modern Apprenticeship aspect of this course has been designed in partnership with the sector skills council, Lantra, ensuring that you will be highly qualified and skilled.
You should be in a job or placement where you are carrying out relevant tasks and responsibilities which allow you to gather the required evidence to achieve the qualification.
