These workbased qualifications are part-time and require the student to be in sports turf related employment. They have been developed to include the skills and knowledge required by the modern day greenkeeper and necessary to meet the golf course supervisor job profile.
Progression on to the HNC Golf Course Management, both full-time and distance learning, is possible after successful completion of SCQF Level 6 (SVQ Level 3) Sports Turf.

Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) was established in 2012 through the merger of the Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) with Barony, Elmwood and Oatridge Colleges. Through these institutions, we can trace our lineage back over 100 years.
